  Desire Machines are an international dream pop ensemble, centred around multi-instrumentalists Kianna Blue and Mark Headley, and vocalist Marlou Zandvliet.
  
  Their debut single ‘Flow’ is a dazzling ray of sun-kissed optimism: vibrant and sensual, with a direct link to the dance floor. Zandvliet’s languid vocal weaves through a distinctive groove that comes courtesy of the super fluid drumming of Lawrie Miller, and bassist Matthew Seligman (formerly of The Soft Boys, David Bowie, Stereo MCs et al).
  
  Sadly Seligman passed away, shortly after the Desire Machines sessions were completed. But his performance here is sublime, serving as fitting testament to a man who could get right inside the ‘feel’ of a song.
  
  The flip-side features a thrilling exclusive remix, courtesy of the ever inventive Wrong Circles (aka Misha Begley). Here, the song is refashioned into the biggest late 90s number one single you’ve never heard.
  
  Desire Machines have a full debut album of gorgeous compositions on the way, but for now, ‘Flow’ is a fabulous statement of intent. Heaven’s Lathe are honoured to be releasing the vinyl debut of this very special new group.
